Meet Kate Gonzalez, Backup Doula
Kate Gonzalez is a highly experienced, skilled, and compassionate doula with Doula Family Services, dedicated to supporting families through birth and the postpartum period. She brings experience, empathy, and a calm presence to every birth, ensuring continuous support whenever needed. Kate works closely with families to honor their birth preferences, provide evidence-based guidance, and help create a positive, empowering birth experience. As my trusted backup, she is available to step in seamlessly, giving you confidence that you’ll always have knowledgeable, nurturing care, no matter the circumstances.

Continuous Labor Support
When you’re in labor, I will arrive whenever you need and provide continuous physical and emotional support throughout. I draw on experience and intuition to guide positions, movement, breathing, and relaxation. Hands-on techniques include massage, counterpressure, aromatherapy, and rebozo, while ensuring your partner maintains the primary support role if desired.
I offer reassurance, perspective, and evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions. Every labor is unique, and I am committed to providing continuous care for as long as your birth takes—whether one hour or forty-five.
