I started working with Becca pretty early in my first trimester. I was a nervous wreck because I had miscarried my pregnancy prior. Best decision I made for myself and my baby! Becca's support brought an ease and confidence to the table that allowed me to move through my pregnancy and actually enjoy it! I labored for 40 hours and in that time period had to make a lot of decisions. Rebecca made sure I understood and was making the best choices for me throughout it all. My daughter is now 10 weeks old and I am still receiving wellness checks and support! I'd 100% recommended Becca to any excepting moms !!

...Rebecca was absolutely perfect! She was so supportive for both me and Jacob! She helped me stick to my birth plan when it got hard and I wanted to quit. She literally held me up while I gave birth. She vibed so well with us and it was so special to have her as part of our team. My birth was a planned home birth assisted by midwives and wonderful Becca. I went into labor in the evening, and Becca was immediately responsive with suggestions to progress my labor, and keep my body calm. She arrived at our home as soon as I needed her, and was a literal hand to hold (squeeze, nearly crush!) throughout the whole process. She provided words of affirmation that resonated, suggestions for positioning to progress labor, and acts of great service like warming water for the brith tub and preparing cool compresses. The support she provided to me and to my husband allowed us to manage labor at home, and be truly present for the birth itself. Post partum, she has been just as wonderful and essential, checking in to ensure I am resting enough, providing tips and resources on breastfeeding, and helping me establish a post-partum mama community in the area. Becca is truly walking sunshine, and I cannot imagine having gone through this process without her.

I believe it was ordained for Rebecca and I to connect. From the moment I met her and the student doulas, Erin and Jess, I knew I was in a safe place. They came with a wealth of knowledge, a wealth of experience, and showed how much they cared about me, my baby, and my husband. I feel we became friends within this time. They respected my desires before and during the pregnancy and were truly advocates. I ended up with a TEAM including them, my husband, the nurses and the doctors at every appointment and throughout the birth of my son. I couldn’t have asked for more and highly recommend Rebecca and/or the student doulas in a heartbeat!

I knew I wanted to give birth in a hospital, possibly get induced (which I did), potentially get an epidural (which I did), and could possibly have a c-section (which I did). I wasn’t sure what doula support would look like or whether it would be “worth it” without an unmediated birth center birth. But Rebecca was worth every dollar and more—she was constantly available via text, email, and phone for all my anxious questions in the months leading up to birth, and provided detailed, science-based information (and emotional support!). At the birth itself, she was essential, working with medical staff to move me into different positions, coaching, affirming, and feeding my husband, and keeping me grounded, supported, and cared for during some of the most stressful hours of my life. I can’t imagine going through my birth experience without her!

Even during my labor and emergency c-section, she was calm, reassuring and held my held through the entire process.
